Be a Percussionist in Band:We are looking for students with an excellent sense of rhythm and a great work ethic--percussionists learn two instruments at once! Percussionists also need to be very patient, as often times in band, their job is to count rests for a long time. Students with piano experience are preferred due to its similarities to the mallet instruments like marimba and xylophone.
