Significance of Symphonic Band
Symphonic Band is the intermediate of the three bands at North High School. Most students spend one year in Concert Band, and progress at their own pace through the program. This means that you are part of an advancing and dynamic group at NHS and you will play an important part in creating high-level music. Symphonic Band could be viewed by some as a preparatory course for Wind Ensemble. The expectations for music making are higher than those in Concert Band, while honing the skills necessary for the next level--Wind Ensemble.
